The perfect blue shirt (and other spring picks)
Even though I haven’t tried this Me+Em shirt yet, I can confidently say it’s a winner if previous efforts are anything to go by. I was gifted a French navy silk shirt from Me+Em late last year as a thank you for hosting an event in their pop-up and the cut is just spot on.
Me+Em does a roaring trade in these curved hem shirts and knits as they have an elegant loucheness that lets you waft around half untucked without looking like a slob. They’re immensely comfortable but have a level of polish that makes them appropriate for all sorts of occasions.
Blue shirts are a lovely spring transition piece as they signal lighter days ahead but aren’t as optimistic as white. I also like a short sleeved sweater, anything tan, a pink or tomato red sheer lip, gold jewellery and a brighter purse.

Just found the perfect pants – COS relaxed chinos – I will be stocking up on all the colours – they have the perfect slouchy fit – with a slight drop in the crotch to make these a winner for me.
