No-brainer gifting the Jo Malone London way
Fact: Jo Malone London always gives good Christmas. The crackers are a guaranteed winner (oops sorry, sold out again), and the cologne collections are everything a Jo Malone fan could want. In the past, these beauty gift sets were called ‘coffrets‘ and generally considered rather naff but these days they’re carefully chosen and handsomely presented. Take for example this year’s World of Jo Malone Collection (£110) that includes a 30ml classic Lime Basil & Mandarin cologne, a Pomegranate Noir travel candle, a 100ml Grapefruit Body and Hand Wash, a 100ml Nectarine Blossom & Honey Body & Hand Lotion and a 100ml Vitamin E Scrub. What could a giftee possibly not love from that lot?
Alternatively, for the hardcore scented candle addict, new for this year is the deluxe 400g Sweet Almond and Macaroon candle (£80). A puddingy concoction of almond, cherries, vanilla and coconut, it’s as warm and comforting as it sounds. But my favourite of all the festive offerings is the super-sized 200ml Pomegranate Noir dressing table bottle (£130). Pomegranate Noir is hands down the most delicious unisex scent and this one’s so big you could buy one for your partner and use half yourself – not that I would suggest that of course…
