At Self Service, content matters

I’m not a big fan of the word ‘content’. Too often it signifies churned out ‘filler’ that brands use because they feel they need ‘something’ on their endless marketing channels. (Which they do, but it could be much more meaningful than the same content we see everywhere.) Hopefully Ezra Petronio will help change that with his Self Service spin off, Content Matters.

Self Service editor-in-chief and Content Matters cohort Claire Thomson-Jonville discusses the topic among other things in the latest Matches Style Report interview, perfectly timed for Paris Fashion Week. I like her thoughts on Parisian style, timeless editorials and quiet determination.
