Gap Styld.by: double denim
Of all my Gap Styld.By outfits, this is the one I’ve been wearing the most. Double denim is still sniffed at in most mainstream circles but I think if you wear it in matching or obviously contrasting colours/shades, then it can work really well.
I’m wearing Gap’s ‘Sexy Boyfriend’ jeans with a classic Gap denim jacket. I picked both the jeans and a jacket in a size bigger than I’d normally wear because I like the proportions. And then I rolled up the hems and sleeves to show a wee bit of skin. As before, I’m wearing my battered Church’s shoes and the bag is an old one by Avril Gau in black pebbled leather. The sunglasses are by Karen Walker and the spotty silk scarf is Margaret Howell.
These photos were taken (by Kit Lee AKA Style Slicker) on one of the hottest days of the year. We went from the Albert Hall and Memorial, to the V&A, to the Serpentine Gallery where I made use of Sou Fujimoto’s white grid Pavilion.
You can see the rest of the Gap Styld.by pictures on this dedicated microsite, showcasing everyday style from around the globe…
