New launch: Style-Passport.com
Niche etail sites are all the rage at the moment. Instead of endless pages of product to navigate, edited sites can be a more useful proposition for customers who are focused on a particular category.
Style-Passport.com is a new niche etail site for holiday-goers. The premise is simple: handpicked fashion and beauty buys for various holiday scenarios. City breaks, staycations, even festivals are catered for (Coachella anyone?). The edit is pretty good, especially as they have added my own personal holiday ‘hero’ piece to the mix – the Petit Bateau matelot. I also love the Chinti & Parker fine-gauge cashmeres, Equipment shirts and Carmex lip balm. Others will be drawn to Iro’s jersey tees and jeans by J Brand and Current Elliot. All highly versatile and packable of course…

This sounds interesting, does anyone really shop like that though? I think I’d want to see everything even I wasn’t going on a beach holiday, I just like to see everything anyway!

Hi Natalie, I think I would! I don’t like wading through millions of products, I like to home in on an edited selection. Having seen the edit on here and that it features the brands and style that I like, I would go here first as chances are I’ll find what I want in a short space of time. That said, it depends what the stock levels are like. If the few things I want are out of stock, I’d be unlikely to go back and as they sell some highly desirable ‘It’ pieces (for want of a better phrase), there is a chance that might happen. Also, other mainstream sites tend not to sell much in the way of sarongs/bikinis/shorts all year round so this will be a particularly useful site out of season.
