Falguni & Shane Peacock
New on my radar is Falguni & Shane Peacock. Strange name, beautiful collection, shown today at the On/Off venue in the Science Museum. These two designers are based in Mumbai but have an international appeal that is still rare for Indian designers. We saw a show full of impeccable cutting and innovative ideas – bubble hems, jewelled gowns, pixel-prints, chainmail sleeves and my favourite, a sculptural bubble dress made of pailettes.
