The bonkers-heel backlash starts here
News just in: Christian Louboutin has unveiled a sneaker. A luxury, animal-print one, but a sneaker all the same. Now if that’s not a signal for the high-heel about-turn, I don’t know what is…

I’d love to say ‘so wrong, they’re right’… but I just think they’re so wrong. No right. And I bloomin’ LOVE leopard print. But it’s like putting it on chiffon… no, no, no!

I love C.L shoes (and his bags come to think of it) but I have to agree with Red Hot Ruby here.
I know it’s not the fact that i’m obviously used to seeing C.L produce sky-high heels -I personally think the style of these particular sneakers are very unappealing -and the leopard print just adds to the ‘wrongness’.
A classic case of a company that are known for producing a specific type of product who try to do something different -but don’t succeed. It would of been great if they got it right though.
Nice idea. Poor execution.

Oh I’m all for the flatness – sort of think these are such a step away they look weird from monsieur CL but it will all come good and flats will be back big style!
