Hair tuck watch #1
The cheap-chic look of the season, the hair tuck is building momentum. Seen here in the new +J by Jil Sander for Uniqlo pics, the hair is tucked into a fetching black wool jacket with popped collar. I’m still not sold on +J – I’m more a COS girl – but if I had long hair I might give this jacket a whirl. You?

I'm amused…does this even count as a look? Or is it just an annoying "my hair is caught..okay, now it's better" moment?

How can you even ask, DRG? It's +J for Uniqlo, of COURSE we'll love it. Well, maybe not that particular jacket (bum chill) but certainly some of the other lovely ones. I'm actually building up a +J collection now, something from every season so far, so I've actually created a reason to buy…I HAVE to have something for 'the collection', neat huh? or just silly….can't decide.

Hmmm. I've been hearing about the hair tuck for a while now and I'm not sure still. It's barely a style… just laziness, right? I've got long hair but won't be doing it, I hate that feeling when you've got your hair tucked in. Ew.

I must agree with you, COS is definitely more my thing. The best place to go for understated chic minimalism.
Loved the hair tuck in the Chanel Couture show! Totally gorgeous.

I love that you're a Cos girl, I spend my days dressing the windows and mannequins in Cos and if they had hair maybe I'd tuck it in just to show off a grandad collar or some other simple detail we have. Although I won't be trying it myself, I always feel really odd if my hairs tucked away.
Keep on being a Cos girl. x

I'm definitely feeling the tuckage. It's like having a scarf that will never blow away and fall into a puddle.
