Return of the Supermodels
I am SICK with excitement at the thought of the Dior couture show on July 2nd. I keep hearing more and more Chinese whispers about this show. From the promise of a full gospel choir, to the dress code of black tie for all the attendees, to the rumour of Christy, Linda, Kate and Naomi WALKING THE RUNWAY!
Oh I WISH I could be there.

well, from over the pond, even the US Elle team have been banned from going in a cost cutting exercise, so take consolation from the fact that even Joe Zee won’t be there…. LLGXX

You are right, no one can replace Christy.
I so hope they do a return to the supermodels. You know we should protest Prada because Muiccia is partially to blame for the disaperance of the supermodels.

I did hear some rumors about a 60th anniversary celebration (in Versailles?)…. and then Valentino’s 45th. Maybe, hopefully, a revival of couture spirit? I could write ages about the blah blah couture never died spiel, but will save you from my ramblings.

Oooh that sounds faboo! I miss Christy. I saw her w/ hubby & kids at one of his screenings once, and she is so gorgeous. sigh.
