This sort of reminds me of some quote made by Anita Pallenberg, regarding her present appearance. It was something about having been the most beautiful woman on five continents so what did it matter if she were now decrepit?
There’s a fine line between healthy solipsism and the other kind.

But then at least Anita Pallenberg was in fact one of the most beautiful women in the world, she can say that and not have me laugh at her.
