Quote of the day
“When wardrobe supervisor Patricia Field’s office calls to borrow something, believe me, you jump for that phone, it’s like winning the lottery.”
A source on the Sex & The City movie set talking about the designers falling over themselves to secure product placement in the forthcoming film.

Ah, but then they have to have a credit. And for the fashion non-savant, who knows X from Y?
I’ve always loved the faux beauty credit, but I notice that Allure doesn’t go this route, instead parsing by similarity. And it ain’t similar at all!

It must suck if the scene you clothed gets cut though.

Yeah, I definitely would have liked some placement action!

Bah…I’m not a mug…I’m not about to buy into just because it happens to be in the SATC movie…

It must be crazy. I mean, the film hasn’t come out yet, and there are hords of people demanding the Eiffel Tower bag. People’s lack of imagination when it comes to dressing really sucks.

Congrats on the ShinyMedia thing, you deserve it!
As for SATC, I like some of the show’s clothes (particularly the coat Carrie wears on her date with Big the night Miranda gives birth), but the movie stills look somewhat off to me. And I loved the show, but aping its look is a bit bleargh, I think.

Why are the general public such flippin’ lemmings? I see the hordes standing outside Magnolia eating cupcakes ( not very gd ones) just cos in one 2 minute scene Miranda & Carrie eat them. GET A LIFE PEOPLE!!! LLG xx
