Wow, the tech-cessories just keep on coming… Harvey Nichols has taken delivery of a whole host of Marc by Marc Jacobs gadgets, including laptop cases, headphones, iPhone covers and these wee speakers with a USB port to attach to your phone or iPod (£55)

Will the iPad be this Christmas’s sell-out item? The iPad case manufacturers certainly hope so. Some luxe sleeves on the market include Chris & Tibor’s glossy animal-print case and Ferragamo’s lush leather offering.

I don’t have an iPad but if I did I wouldn’t hesitate to encase it in one of Smythson’s many new iPad cases – preferably one in sunny yellow snake-print…
