I think I'm with Mary. What an odd choice for ADR! And kind of weird for her to launch a fragrance anyway, don't you think?

No, it's an abomination.

Haha such a good spot! I did a little fashion flinch when I saw the bottle, but I guess if anyone can carry something as OTT as that it's ADR…
29 July, 2010 @ 8:46 am
That is just plain ugly! Nothing like what I would have expected from ADR! I also didn't expect her face to be so key in the promotion…it's a bit too JLo/Britney for my liking.

Ahahahahaha! The shoe-bottle has forever been tainted by association, I'm afraid this is a fail.

noooooo! i can't believe anna has made such a tasteless choice! i immediately thought of mary too!

Noooo, I Hate Them. Anna's One Looks Real Cheap!

Ha ha ha! Love the comparison.
I'm agreeing with designer-turned-blogger Eric Gaskins on a lot of issues here…

I think a very plain, clear shoe shaped bottle could be ok, as long as the proportions and size were right (I think a really small one would look best). However even that would be on the absolute boundaries of taste, and the ADR one just looks too glitzy and tacky for my liking. Also it seems really gimmicky, and she doesn't need gimmicks.

I loved that episode, especially the 'utter sh*te' bit. But I am not loving that shoe perfume bottle. At least the perfume isn't being dispensed from the bottle in the same way, that makes it slightly better…
30 July, 2010 @ 11:53 pm
Yeh it's ugly, but maybe it will really take off as a kitsch dressing table ornament where your friends will go "OMG you got the ADR perfume, isn't it just so hideously cool?"

No, it's awful. I'm with Mary all the way on this one! x

I totally agree with mary! It's not really all that stylish, seems tacky and it can't be practical either – how do you get the dregs out of the bottom, its hard enough in a normal shaped container!

I'm 100% with Mary. Did Anna really need to sell-out like this? It's so bizarre! Now she's just another Kerry Katona/Paris Hilton/Chantelle/Chanelle/Chanterelle…
I wonder, will they stock it in SemiChem?

ADR is launching a perfume?! That seems very odd to me.
The bottle is AWFUL. I can't stand anything stiletto shaped apart from uh… stilettos.
