Get your bling on at Cocosa (and check me out while you’re at it)
Attention attention! I’ve been asked to be a guest editor of Cocosa for a month starting tomorrow. Don’t know what Cocosa is? Let me enlighten you. It’s one of the better members-only* flash sale sites that have sprung up in the last few years, selling keenly-priced stock from upper-end labels. I’m particularly excited as it’s kicking off with a sale from one of favourite jewellery designers, Mawi.
On the whole, my jewellery taste veers towards whimsical charms on chains and watches of every description, but when it comes to Mawi, I make an exception. Designer Mawi (pronounced ‘Moy’) Keivom has a distinctive luxe, statementy style that I love. Her deco-inspired jewels are usually big, weighty and perfect for throwing over simple pieces to enliven them. From the Cocosa sale which starts tomorrow, I have my eye on the panther-head pieces which are crying out to be worn with an emerald vintage YSL silk blouse (alas no, I don’t have one of those). Warning: The sale starts at 12pm sharp (UK time) – don’t hang around.
You can also read all about me when the page goes live. Lucky you! In the meantime, check out my blog buddy, Natalie from Canned Fashion‘s Cocosa style profile.

Thank you so much for this. I have a major Mawi love (though annoying lack of funds right now)

Snappy: why ever not? Maybe as a brooch if not an earring?
