Pepe has bought the licence to produce an Andy Warhol fashion line and surprise, surprise, it’s actually not bad. Some pieces are rather obvious and a bit on the tacky side while others are quite witty and inventive. My favourites are the Marilyn lips top, the face-print tee (but who is it – Edie?) and the Campbell’s soup dress. They should be on sale around September.
I was shooting at Spring Studios today and spotted a familiar scrawny figure standing in the stairwell as I went to lunch. Sure enough it was super-stylist and all-round fashion hero, Joe McKenna. OMG! Of course, I was too star struck to say anything, even though I badly wanted to, I mean, what could I say? Didn’t even find out what he was shooting, how lame am I?
Did you know: Joe McKenna played Ken Barlow’s son in Coronation Street and did the costumes for 80s Brit-flick Absolute Beginners…well I never!

The A/W previews are in full flow so I’ll be posting my fashion findings here. Designers are playing with different mixes of fabrics so expect to see lots of weird and wonderful combos come September.
