Chucks get the chic treatment
While the luxury brands are muscling in on the trainers act, sportswear brands are smartening up their trainer offer. Converse showed the most beautiful suede Chuck Taylors in red, blue and black suede for AW10, which I’m not allowed to post on here but will be launched in July for £50.
Meanwhile, Vans impressed me with their new premium leather skate shoes for ‘dad skaters’ and unisex suede sheepskin shoes. Now we’re talking…

my old chucks have been abandoned in ireland (mostly as they are almost as old as my teenage brother) but i have been debating new ones.. waiting 'til july i suppose to investigate these.

Interesting must show D these as I hate his current addidas trainers. He has the habit of picking the most ugliest trainers ever and will not contemplate getting something nicer by Helmet Lang
