Naked and nude makeup palettes have undoubtedly been a thing this year. You can get them at all price points (just search them on British Beauty Blog, there’s a new one along every week) but for me, you can’t beat Bobbi Brown. The formulations are beautiful, the shades are supremely wearable and they work hard for day and night so that even the expensive ones earn their keep. (more…)

It’s official; Covent Garden has become London’s Beauty Quarter when it comes to stores. Luxury brands Chanel, Dior and Burberry all opened mini beauty flagships here in the last couple of years while Marc Jacobs followed recently with its Tweet Shop pop-up. Now prestige beauty brands Clinique and Bobbi Brown (above) are experimenting with new, highly personal store concepts. (more…)
Bobbi Brown is the undisputed queen of nudes. Her shades and textures are second to none – I’ve always relied on her flattering lipsticks since way back in the 90s when she practically invented the no-make-up-make-up look.
