Perfect pairing: comfort food and wabi-sabi ceramics

Spring is on the horizon but… we’re not quite there yet (just ask a New Yorker). I’m still in soup, stew and rustic roasts mode – the salads will have to wait a while longer I’m afraid. Whetting my appetite is my foodie Pinterest board, currently groaning with aubergine bakes and pear cakes. (If you prefer to look than cook, Anthropologie’s Pinterest always has the most beautiful food imagery).

To serve a rustic winter feast, there’s nothing nicer than home-made-looking, wabi-sabi ceramics. (more…)

I love a proper bookshop as much as the next person but sometimes – especially during gift season – it’s nice to buy your books in a lifestyle environment. And for that, where better than Anthropologie?
