Paris Fashion Week Menswear SS13: Kenzo
Possibly my favourite Paris show, following a brief display of parkour gymnastics (above), Kenzo heralded a return to its Jungle Jap roots, showing a sporty but tailored collection mixing influences of the urban jungles of Paris and New York with those of Asian jungles. The layers of camo and abstract animal prints are what made this collection sing for me, as well as the huge variety of accessories. Designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have brought their retailers’ eye to Kenzo so have got the balance of creativity and commerce spot on. Watch those tiger-stripe Chukkas, square toed shoes, croc-print sunglasses, pochette bags and peaked caps fly when the collection arrives next year…
Guests showed off their best prints – Carven, Kenzo and Prada among them…
After the show, we went to the Kenzo shop where I wanted to buy everything in sight, including the Vans in every colour

So jealous you guys went to this!! I really want to get the tiger KENZO jumper next season… which of their stores did you go to? I went to the one round the corner from the Rue St Honore and they were having a massive sale but it was all the boring “old Kenzo” suits etc.

Hey Duck, This was the one near Tranoi (don’t ask me where it was though) but Simon went to all of them!
