Are milk carton bags the new book clutch?

Olympia Le Tan is famous for her book clutches which have been toted by most of young Hollywood and highly coveted by everyone else. She’s less known for her milk carton bag, an equally whimsical handmade creation from a few seasons ago, that slings across the shoulder on a rope cord (below).

Of course, someone else has recently produced a luxe version of a milk carton bag, also slung on a hands-free cord. This Chanel interpretation for AW14 (below) is embellished with crystals and pearls and the rope cord has been switched for a leather-and-chain strap.
