Thakoon Panichgul launches HommeGirls

Homme Girls Thakoon

Loving the sound of HommeGirls – Thakoon Panichgul’s multimedia celebration of gentlewoman style. It launches this week with an Instagram account, website and print zine, with plans to monetise later with affiliate links to brands. Also later will come ‘limited runs of repurposed men’s blazers, as well as collaborations with established brands’, according to Vogue. Contributors to the zine include photographers Cass Bird and Vanina Sorrenti, which gets two thumbs up from me. (more…)

Will Rihanna’s Fenty LVMH RTW collection sell?

Rihanna debuts Fenty RTW line for LVMH

First look at Rihanna’s Fenty RTW collection for LVMH. She’s the first black woman to get her own dedicated high end line at LVMH. It’s pretty amazing considering Hedi, Phoebe and Nicolas haven’t managed to achieve that.

I’ve not heard much on the Repossi front lately, but BOF reports that it has been expanding its retail network, with shop-in-shops in Dubai, London and Doha, with New York and Tokyo to come. PERFECT PAIRING: FRED PERRY X MARGARET HOWELL
Fred Perry Margaret Howell collaboration

I first saw this collab on the SS19 runway back in September. Margaret Howell rummaged through the Fred Perry archive and took inspiration from early tennis sportswear, including the OG Fred Perry polo shirt for this men’s and women’s capsule collection. (more…)
