On my radar: posh satchels

Last month I wrote about printed satchels for Glamour, this month I’m feeling posh satchels. I like the elongated, less childlike shape of Danielle Foster’s leather satchel (below), and Buki Akib’s  knitted satchels (above) inspired by Fela Kuti’s wives and made by craftswomen in Lagos.  (more…)

Own the Moonrise Kingdom scout suit and raise money for charity

If you’ve seen Moonrise Kingdom, you’ll know one of the best things about it is the fantastic costume design by Kasia Walicka Maimone. Library corner: Mr Freedom by Paul Gorman

Beyond ecstatic for the launch of Paul Gorman’s book on Mr Freedom. Mandi Lennard has written a great piece here that sums up Tommy Roberts and Mr Freedom but if you don’t know your 60s pop culture, suffice to say that without Tommy Roberts there would probably be no Fiorucci, Hysteric Glamour or Marc by Marc Jacobs. The book is avaiable from June and you can preorder here.
