MICHELLE PHAN LAUNCHED A MAKE-UP LINE – AND SHOWS YOU HOW TO DEFINE YOUR NOSTRILS

Youtube sensation Michelle Phan just launched her own make-up brand. The 250-product collection called ‘Em’, is backed by L’Oreal and launched yesterday. It’s being pitched as a ‘co-created by the community’ line, based as it is on feedback collated by Phan throughout her vlogging career. Find it on Emcosmetics.com. Here’s a cute Phan beau-torial video I found on the US Vogue site, that shows you how to get the big-browed Cara look. The weirdest bit is that she also shows you how to define your… nostrils. So Marc Jacobs Beauty is finally here. Any thoughts? The website is suitably slick, with pinnable images, inspiration notes, reviews and luxe close-ups of the products – although you then have to go to Sephora.com to buy. Featuring nail art trends and design inspiration for all skill levels, it’s billed as a community to ‘educate, inspire and share’. And naturally, everything’s shoppable…

MEET THE PERFUMERS AT HARRODS

I love this experiential retail concept from Harrods. From 22nd August to 19th September, fragrance boffins can meet the noses from some of the most iconic perfume houses. There will be talks, one-to-ones and masterclasses so it’s definitely worth checking out. Highlights include a talk with Camille Goutal of Annick Goutak (£30) and a Roja Dove masterclass (£295). Study the full agenda here, then contact the Harrods concierge on 020 7225 6874 or [email protected] to book your spot.

BLACK WOMEN DON’T SELL MAGAZINES? OH YES THEY DO!

beyonce-vogue Oprah-winfrey-wig

According to Fashionista, Beyonce’s US Vogue cover is the biggest selling Vogue cover so far this year. So take that doubters! And while we’re on the subject, I still can’t get over Oprah and her fabulous fro wig on the cover of O magazine…
