Eh I've never been a fan of the gelly/Melissa shoes. The only ones I'd consider looking at would be the last pair. I don't get the trend I guess :\

those cherry shoes are so lovely! x

I think they are really cute. I totally adore the cherry ones, but they are plastic…. Won't they smell get sweaty and sticky and rub my feet raw?

Melissa x Vivienne Westwood just keeps getting better and better. I need those glitter boots bad but I'm not sure that I can wait until next season.
RIP Whore Heels!

Jelly shoes grown up version for those who wore them in the 80's. Something so wrong but right about them x

These cherry ones are amazing. And the glitter boots. I die! I die! Are they available online?
28 March, 2010 @ 5:50 pm
Shrinky Inky and Anon… They're for AW10 so I guess will be available from August. I'm pretty sure they'll be online, the ss10s are.

Hmm, I'm with patni – has anyone actually worn a pair of Melissa shoes? I don't get how they could be comfortable, but would be happy if someone could prove me wrong? I do like the look of them.

The shoes are actually super comfortable.. Being a flexible plastic, the soles are a bit squishy, and everything stretches to fit you perfectly! I really love wearing mine.
My feet never smell after I wear them; they're definitely a different type of plastic than the traditional jellies. However, some parts do rub against my feet after 8+ long hours standing, depending on the shoes, but it's been no different than breaking in my leather pumps. If I'm wearing tights though, no problems whatsoever!

i have 3 pairs of melissa vivienne westwood shoes and 1 pair of just melissa shoes and they are amazing! so comfy and your feet do not smell!
6 July, 2010 @ 10:17 am
It's also worth noting that the material they're made from is scented to smell like bubble gum! I have two pairs of melissa heels and they're the only comfy heels I own – love them! I'm eagerly awaiting my birthday for a pair of the Vivienne Westwoods :O)
