And I love those, but we don’t see much about the mechanics of design and why some things just work. Why a shirt sits just so, how to achieve a perfectly-fitting sweater. Much as I love the idea of wearing an armful of chunky bangles, I’ve never quite managed to make it work. Maybe the answer is this arrangement of wooden bangles, mixed with a thin golden bangle or two. OK, these are Hermès ones (on silks chief Bali Barret), but hey, there’s nothing wrong with aiming high…
