New Sofia Coppola film alert! Somewhere
What could be more exciting than the prospect of a new Sofia Coppola film? Um, the soundtrack to a new Sofia Coppola film? The new movie, Somewhere is due for release in December. The soundtrack promises The Strokes and Phoenix which is all I know so far but is more than good enough for me (Phoenix and Jesus and Mary Chain were my highlights of Lost in Translation).

Why do I love Supermarket Sarah so? Is it because it’s like a giant, lifesize collage? Is it Sarah’s DIY punk spirit (why the hell not make your living room into a shop?)? Is it the crazy-creative curators she teams up with? Wait, why am I overthinking things? I love it cos it’s wicked, duh!
