I’ve never bought into the hoopla of palettes. I think partly it’s because they’re so hyped you know another one will be along in a minute. And partly it’s because you only ever use half the shades. You can see why bloggers are the beauty industry’s best friends. More than magazines or celebs they have a very subtle knack of making you think you need things you’d never even thought about before. Brushes, for example. I never considered makeup brushes a thing until I started watching beauty vlogs and then suddenly, I felt I needed to know the ins and outs of buffer brushes, contour brushes and those funny flat fan-shaped, um, fan brushes.
