Jonathan Anderson’s new-look Loewe has has rave reviews so far, with its reworked logo, ad campaign and SS15 menswear all giddily received by the critics. For spring-summer 2015, Anderson’s inspiration came from pre-rave Ibiza references so it’s heavy on rustic-looking but luxurious fabrics and simple, bohemian shapes (given Anderson’s ultra-modern ambi-sexual treatment).
In London we haven’t had a truly cold snap yet this year but I’m bracing myself. If the threats are true that we’re in for the harshest winter since 1949, then I plan to be thoroughly insulated. (more…)
Is the Isabel Marant for H&M collab likely to be the most popular yet? It’s possible. I’ve seen the goods up close and they’ve done a great job of including the Marant signatures – from mannish coats to second-skin leather cigarette pants, to simple stiletto pumps. (more…)
