1. CÉLINE SELLS ONLINE AT 24 SÈVRES
This week saw LVMH-owned Céline arrive at 24 Sèvres, the only multi-brand e-com store to sell Céline. 24 Sèvres (also owned by LVMH) will sell everything from RTW, to eyewear, and bags, shipping to over 80 countries. (more…)
I’m not a big fan of the word ‘content’. Too often it signifies churned out ‘filler’ that brands use because they feel they need ‘something’ on their endless marketing channels. (Which they do, but it could be much more meaningful than the same content we see everywhere.) Hopefully Ezra Petronio will help change that with his Self Service spin off, Content Matters. (more…)

Self Service mag has gone all 90s tomboy for Spring 13. “This issue is very different. It’s more in the tomboy, early-’90s direction — still glamorous, though. I think it’s somewhat of a reaction to what we’ve done in the past,” creative director Suzanne Koller told Into the Gloss. In fact, it sounds like the whole mag is full of natural-looking, androgynous styling on really hot girls, minus what Koller calls ‘bimbo-style posing’. Issue 38 is out 6th March.
