So I had a feeling 2014 was going to be a big year for blogging and I was right. Some of my blog buddies have achieved huge things this year, for starters, look how many fashion bloggers are writing books. Not e-books, but big printed things full of that weird stuff called paper. Susie Bubble is working on her second book (if you count Style Feed which she contributed to), while Sasha Wilkins/Liberty London Girl has just sent her convivial cookery book to print. Check this out! I was really chuffed to be asked to be featured in the March issue of Elle Decoration (along with Shini and Fred) talking about design, blogging and homesy things. I nearly turned it down as I don’t really like having to
tidy up my crap pose for photos but … Elle Deco, people!!! And lovely Tara Darby did a great job with the pictures, while Talib Choudhry did well to to edit my ramblings into something coherent. Also, gotta love the fact that Fred, Shini and I all included Susie Bubble (AKA the patron saint of UK fashion blogging – ha!) in our top three must-read blogs.
If this year wasn’t all about extravagant scarf prints, next year certainly will be. If you’re going to buy a posh silk scarf, you might as well make it an Hermes one and to entice you even more, Hermes has set up a special pop-up scarf boutique at Harrods (in the Room of luxury 2 on the ground floor) where every Wednesday and Friday afternoon between now and 2nd January 2012, you can learn how to tie a scarf like a pro.
