Now the biggie Рthis week sees the unveiling of a brand new Bond Street flagship store, repositioned on the opposite side of the road to its previous premises and at 4,320 square feet, much bigger in scale. Can we take a minute to appreciate the new-look Bally, under the creative direction of Pablo Coppola? Emphasising the Bally ‘codes’ of precision and craftsmanship, there’s a focus on grown up wardrobe staples with a slightly relaxed flair – tailored trousers, boxy handbags, mannish coats, boyfriend shoes…

AW13 menswear day 1: Hi-vis meets intrepid traveller at London Collections: Men

In the main, I like my menswear shows colourful, casual and youthful. So thank you Topman Design for your intrepid traveller theme, incorporating hi-vis berry and citrus-hued outerwear (above), including many variations of furry hooded parka (is the cropped parka the new cropped puffer?) and some clever backpacks dripping with tech-cessory hooks and holders.
