Moroccan Tea Eau de Toilette from & Other Srories

& Other Stories just gets everything right. It launched its first US store in New York last month to rave reviews and last week entered the fragrance market. There are four eau de toilettes (£26): Moroccan Tea, Punk Bouquet, Fig Fiction and Botanic Whisper. The packaging has a whiff of Maison Martin Margiela about it, with the apothecary bottles and utilitarian white labels. Continue reading

Right, fantasy desk accessory time. I’m totally going to start arranging vintage stamps , malachite candle holders and (faux) coral-handled magnifying glasses on my shabby chic desk like an eccentric professor. These rather refined goodies are from L’Objet, the home decor brand by Elad Yifrach. The former interior designer launched his Mediterranean-inspired luxury tabletop and accessories line nine years ago, with Bergdorf Goodman as his first client. Continue reading

Need a good reason to go to Harrods? Of course you do. Well here’s one: Valentino has created it’s very own pop-up shop to celebrate the unstoppable cult of the Rockstud. In situ until the end of the month, the Rockstud Rouge pop-up sells bags and shoes adorned with the famous pyramid studs, amid a selection of Valentino AW13 RTW in the expected shade of crimson. (Can I point out that the walls are studded as well…)

It bags may come and go but the Rockstud is in another league altogether. According to Harrods chief merchant Marigay McKee, “it has dominated the accessories market, growing in demand since its launch.” Continue reading
