My LFW day one highlight was also the event that took the most time. As media partner for Max Factor’s first ever London Fashion Week live make-up lesson on Google Hangout, I had a call time of 8am to do backstage beauty tweeting at Felder Felder.
For three hours I took notes from Max Faxtor make-up artist Mel Arter, tweeted and Instagrammed, updated the event page on Google Plus, then watched the show – a dreamy, underwater-inspired parade of mermaids with attitude. (more…)
Today’s the day! MAC’s Antonio Lopez palettes are out and aren’t they stunning – inside and out.
The lids are decorated with Lopez’ famous illustrations and the palettes contain lip, eye and face colours. Also in the collection are make-up bags, a powder/blush brush and a mirror. They go on counter and online today.

Other things I learnt:

The next major MAC make-up campaign will be inspired by Lopez’ illustrations and coterie of fabulous friends
Bill Cunningham and Antonio Lopez were BFFs and studio neighbours
