Pringle’s Grace-ful tribute

Pringle-princess-Grace-archive

Pringle Of Scotland is about to launch another of its collaborations with MA Fashion Design students from Central St Martins. The (100% Made in Scotland) archive collection, Princess Grace: More Than an Image was created in collaboration with The Nouveau Musee National De Monaco which gave BA fashion history and theory students access to the palace archives. Now that must have been an eye-opener.

Based on Princess Grace’s everyday wardrobe, my favourite pieces are the gently twisted classics – Alice Bastin’s knot-front design and Rachel Hewitt’s twinset-style sweater. The capsule collection lands next month but can be pre-ordered online at Pringlescotland.com now.
