What to steal from Louis Vuitton menswear AW17
Aside from the Supreme logo overload, let’s look at the rest of the Louis Vuitton menswear AW17 collection. This was very sellable, very luxe and pretty much ageless. I loved all the styling cues – a flashback to 90s New York for me (although 80s Basquiat was the reference that Jones cited) with the oversized pleated pants with white sneakers look (a good excuse to buy new Jack Purcells), plus the gilets, flaparound shirt tails, simple rain macs and hooray, more berets!
This is loosened-up luxury and much more appealing to me than what Nicolas does with the womenswear. I really want to see it all close up.
