I was a bit alarmed after I wrote my Liberty post to find people misquoting me as saying Liberty was definitely on its last legs. Yikes. I honestly didn’t mean to spread that rumour and to make amends I can report that Liberty is fighting the recession with a brand new overhaul to be unveiled on Valentine’s Day. Highlights will include a scarf hall, two floors of womenswear and new-to-Liberty labels Cacharel, Balmain, Josh Goot and Aquascutum.
I’m most excited about the bazaar on the ground floor – whatever will it look like? The Liberty blog is the place to read all the as-it-happens news. For starters, they have reported that their allocation of Nike x Liberty high-tops will arrive on 14th Febuary and when they’re gone, they’re gone.
I’m so curious to see these worn. They’re cute in isolation, but how to deploy?
