Dover Street Market Tachiagari SS13 – come on you Brits!

Last Wednesday saw the unveiling of Dover Street Market’s seasonal Tachiagari, when the new collections and installations go in and the bloggers are let loose around the store with their dSLRs. Most noticable to me was the Brit invasion. It really is a BFC-fest in here – in a good way of course. So amongst the Raf, Junya, Comme and Celine is a big dollop of Christopher Kane, Jonathan Saunders, Thomas Tait, Peter Pilotto, Simone Rocha, Sophia Webster, JJS Lee and Palmer Harding. Simone Rocha has designed her own space, offsetting her fluoro fabulosity with minimalist clear perspex fittings. Saint Laurent also gets its own Hedi-designed area, but alas, we weren’t allowed to take photos of that…

My fantasy shopping wishlist includes these Junya Watanabe see-through knits and Sacai shirting…

Shoes from Sophia Webster and JJS Lee…

Peter Pilotto pattern overload…

Fred Perry’s anniversary collection, customised by a who’s who of fashion hardhitters includes pieces from Raf Simons (Bauhaus and The Cure patches), Sister by Sibling (camp sequins), Christopher Raeburn (bunny mascot) and Simone Rocha (sheer polos). Some of the pieces are one-offs, being auctioned in aid of the Amy Winehouse Foundation, while others will go into production.

Who else but Celine sells a snakeskin sweatshirt?
