Buy it now: Sophia Webster’s 3-inch Ida heels
I love that this exclusive Sophie-Webster-for-Net-a-Porter collection is called Ida. Ida Petersson is Net-a-Porter’s senior shoes buyer who I first met a few years ago when she was at Harvey Nichols. She’s like a bundle of energy in person, so it’s no surprise that she’s a fan of Webster, whose own aesthetic is equally high on the fizzy fun factor.
Petersson has persuaded Webster to create this capsule foursome of mid-height heels based on a pair of Petersson’s own past-their-best mid-heels. The result has Webster’s signature colour-pops (in this season’s refined neons) in a highly wearable, 3-inch T-bar. The pumps are all £260 which is pretty reasonable (I think they’re made in Brazil). “Price was really key for us during the development, and I am so pleased that we are able to offer the pump at an entry level price for the brand,” says Petersson.
