Last week saw the unveiling of the final pieces from my Peroni Collaborazioni project. Jessica De Lotz’s bicycle bell ring/bracelet was beautifully quirky and it turns out both Maarten van der Horst and Shaun Samson made long, labour-intensive shirts – although they couldn’t have been more different. Gorgeous, gorgeous Fred Butler video on Stylelikeu* about her unique personal style…
Eres is taking a tip (pun intended) from Chanel by piggy-backing on the huge trend for directional nail polish. From next March, the luxury swimwear brand will launch a limited range of three shades (yellow, pink, brown) to clash or match with its bikinis.
Matching colour cosmetics to your outfit is quite the thing at the moment (hello My-Wardrobe) and quite frankly if there’s one place this idea works perfectly, it’s got to be the beach. Clever thinking Eres, I wonder who will follow suit?
UPDATE: More Eres news, the brand has just opened its first London standalone store in (where else?) upscale Knightsbridge. Head to 24 Motcomb Street, SW1 for the best bikinis in the biz.

So last week I assembled a giant size version of one of my scrapbooks on their wall, along with some choice pieces of their vintage stock. I had Italy on the brain, hence the Paninaro-ish denim and bright sweatshirting along with Versace-esque scarf prints, downplayed with a bit of army surplus. Continue reading
It’s a long time since I got this excited about a magazine cover but Harper’s Bazaar UK has done it for me. A few months ago, there was a flurry of excitement on Twitter as editor Lucy Yeomans dropped hints about a groundbreaking Harper’s cover shoot she had been on. Duran Duran was mentioned, supermodels were mentioned and, well, that was enough to pique my interest*. Continue reading
